Why we’re different

Most therapist directories are simply paid listings — names you can pay to appear alongside. The Collective works differently. We’re a community first: we meet in person, get to know each other’s work, and make referrals through real relationships.

That’s also why we keep it local, and why we hope you’ll take part. It’s the difference between a group of colleagues who actually know each other and a list of names.

Who’s a good fit

Whether you’ve specialized in couples work for years or are actively growing into it, we’d love to have you. We invite clinicians with a genuine focus on couples and relationships, and a willingness to be part of the community.

• A licensed or pre-licensed therapist.
• Couples and relationships are a real, active part of your work — whether you specialize now or are building toward it.
• You live and work within about 50 miles of Austin, even if you see clients online. We’re a community that meets in person, so being local matters.
• You’re interested in being a part of a community — come to a gathering, get to know colleagues, and take part.

Therapists of all backgrounds, identities, and approaches are welcome here. A community is stronger — and cares for people better — when it reflects the full diversity of Austin and the relationships we all serve.

How it works

1. Create your profile. Tell us a bit about you and your work with couples.
2. We’ll check the basics. We’ll simply confirm that you’re licensed or pre-licensed, local to Austin, and actively work with couples.
3. Get listed. You go up in the directory and join the invite list for the next gathering.
4. Show up. Come to a gathering now and then. We won’t make you wear a nametag.

Joining and your listing are free. Trainings are priced to cover their costs.
